May ZeroDayPhoto take pictures at my special event?
Yes! We can take pictures at special events and private parties. Please e-mail us with the details of your party or special event so we can give you accurate price information. You may inquire at weare@zerodayphoto.com for details.
Do I have to be registered to buy photos at ZeroDayPhoto ?
No, you may buy photos without registering. But we encourage you to register so you can use neat tools like the Lightbox!
As a photographer on ZeroDayPhoto may I sell adult (nudity) photos on your site?
No, we do not allow the hosting of adult oriented photos on our site. Even though nudity is considered an art form in some cases, we are a family oriented site. Please keep it clean, Thank you.
Are photos really placed online at ZeroDayPhoto in less than 24 hours after race completion?
Yes! That is the ZeroDayPhoto promise. This will be true 99.9% of the time. The only allowance for extra time is if we have technical problems or if our camera equipment gets damaged for reasons beyond our control.
Are the race day photos searchable by bid number?
Yes, race day photos are searchable by bid number but this process could take up to a week after the photos have been published to work. The reason for this policy is because it takes us a long time to enter the bid numbers into the database seeing that all the numbers are entered in manually by hand.
Ok, the race day photos are searchable by bib number. How do I find my photos and not other peoples photos who have bid numbers similar to mine. For example: My bib number is 79. Why is bib number 179, 279, and 379 also coming up in my search?
This is a very good question; it is best answered by watching this tutorial about the search function and bib numbers.
My Yahoo e-mail message from ZeroDayPhoto did not come right after I purchased my photo(s). I do not get an e-mail message on my yahoo from my ZeroDayPhoto purchase until 2 to 5 hours later. Why is this?
Please note that Yahoo and some other hosts have limitations on the numbers of e-mails which the server can accept, that is why the delivery of the e-mail can be delayed. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do. We do recommend using a Gmail account though. For some reason their mail server is really fast and you will almost always get a reponse withing 5 minutes of your order.
What format are the photos in?
All ZeroDayPhoto photos are in JPG format.
Do you add photos on a regular basis?
Yes. We add photos as they are taken. Click on "Newest Photos" to see the latest photos that we have posted.
Can I submit photos to sell?
You most certainly can! ZeroDayPhoto encourages photographers to list their photos for sale. Click on the "Photographer Login" to get started or you may go directly to the signup page by clicking here.
Do you offer refunds?
Once your purchase is made we can not offer a refund. The reason for this policy is because we offer full access to our entire digital collection of photos and, as such, there is no way for our products to be returned. On a rare occasion we will make exceptions on a case by case basis.
Are there any restrictions on my use of the ZeroDayPhoto photos that I download?
Yes. While ZeroDayPhoto offers great freedoms and a wide ranges of uses, we do not allow the redistribution of our photos, or allow the use of our photos within products that are mass distributed in any type of archive format.
Exceptions: If you purchase a Commercial Use CD or DVD from us, you are then allowed to re-distribute the photos you purchase a license for.
If I purchase a subscription are there any other fees I will encounter when downloading from the site?
No, a 200 download membership allows you full access to download up to 200 photos on our site at no extra charge.
Is account sharing allowed?
No, sharing an account is no different than distributing our materials to others. Individual accounts must be purchased by your friends and colleagues.
I bought a subscription, but it says I'm not activated, what do I do?
On rare occasions our merchant processors may not send the information of your transaction to our system, so your account may not be automatically activated. Therefore, if you have made a purchase of our yearly subscription and you are not able to access photos ZeroDayPhoto using your details, send a support request.
